How do I know if my property will look good from above (aerial/drone shots)?

Typically the homes that look the best from an aerial perspective do not have dense foliage above them, are situated in a manner that is pleasing to view from above, and are not squished in between other buildings.

If you are curious if your home will look good from above, one of the best tools to use is Google maps.  Set it onto satellite view and check out your property from above.  From this view, you can begin to get an idea if there are any obstructions from the air that may make your property particularly appealing or unappealing from above and get an idea of what the neighborhood looks like when viewed from a bird's-eye view.
